Stage: Frontpage +WIP+by ~crazyclouds

My latest design... Stage.

Quick note: the full PSD has a full 'stage', it's just that I've been working to make it fully viewable within a 1280 screen so I cropped off the resst for now since it hasn't all been centered.

Damn, switching between a glossy LCD and a matt LCD is disturbing. It's like, the bright images you are used to suddenly become unbelievably dull. Also having to adjust to different resolutions are irritating (1680*1050 to 1280*800). Enough about that though.

Stage was done initially as a design for a client. That client hasn't gotten back to me for awhile, so i essentially turned it into a template cum personal portfolio. I really like the stage (hopefully you can tell what it is.) It's inspired from a dock skin i downloaded from here awhile ago. The buttons will hopefully light up when a slider is implemented.

Give me some critique, since I intend to submit this to themeforest. Be as harsh as possible

A really nice phonebooth icon from CgInk! [link] (This probably won't make it into the final version cause it's non commercial. Hoping I can convince him/her to make an exception!

If I had to be picky...

The From the blog bit looks slightly misplaced
Your reflection of the monitor has a word written on it, but the actual image doesnt.

good stuff though
